Certified food manager
Training and testing in multiple aspects of food service management, regardless of industry category (restaurants, health care, catering, etc.), the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services accepts CFM for nursing home and long-term care facilities to establish the food service manager's qualification for the job. Our certification is the least onorous and least expensive of the options. IFSEA is responsible for preparing, administering and scoring the academic tests. Scheduled roll-out of training with our partner, Pythia, to bring this certification to the forefront of the LTC business.
One LTC provider of food service and housekeeping has certified over 400 of their managers with CFM in about 38 states!
