Are you a college or high school student?

Do you plan to pursue a career in the Hospitality Industry?

Through our partnership, with the Worthy Goal Scholarship and Kae DeBrent Hodges Fund, IFSEA offers scholarships to high school graduates, undergraduate students, and vocational school students.

We have several scholarships to offer to students:

1.     Worthy Goal Scholarship - Awarded in the amounts of $500 to $2500 to a student enrolled or accepted as a full-time student at a two- or four- year college or university.

2.     Named Scholarships - We have currently eight (8) scholarships named after those who provided the funds or another entity funded in an individuals honor: Aloha Hawaii Branch ($2000), Faulstitch Family ($2000), South Carolina Palmetto Branch ($2000), Detroit Branch ($1000), Dunsmoor Family ($1000), Guam Branch ($1000), Lowe Family ($1000) & Reno-Tahoe Branch ($1000)

3.     Kae DeBrent Hodges Fund - Established from the late Kae DeBrent Hodges, often considered the matriarch of IFSEA, to provide support for students.  Kae was a very active member of IFSEA and supported the organization in many ways.  She left her estate to be administered by two trustees to find ways to support and encourage students. To that end, the trustees annually find ways to provide financial support to students whether civilian or military to help enhance their Hospitality Industry knowledge.
